We are all a bit ‘topsy turvy’ in Boxworks this weekend. The company https://aphex.ie/ are to take the next step in their amazing journey and that means moving ‘lock-stock-and barrell out of #Boxworks and into their new office space out in Arclabs, Carriganore, sadly, they have outgrown us here!

While we are all so delighted and excited for the guys as they move into the next phase of their journey, we are also extremely sad to see them pack their belongings and close that door behind them in office 09. It has been great fun here some morning’s as we banter with James over his ‘finite time’, sharing a beer to wet ‘baby Steele’s’ head, ‘ Kevin sorting out house rules, listening to Craig’s travel stories,
and of course, most importantly, making sure Martin’s Dad got to the hurling match of the year, stealing scones from Elaine, and talking ponies with Brenda.
Each of us here wish you all the best and all the luck in the world guys, and thank you for being part of the #Boxworks story! http://www.arclabs.ie are very lucky to have you!

DIARMUID REIL | ARCHITECT
MRIAI, RIBA, PROF. DIP. (ARCH), DIP. ARCH., DIP. ARCH. TECH., DIP. I.D. ARCHITECT ACCREDITED IN CONSERVATION AT GRADE III
Diarmuid Reil is an Architect who has worked on a wide range of projects in the residential, commercial, public, conservation, healthcare and pharmaceutical fields over the past 20 years. He is an advocate for the general practice of architecture and believes that variety in practice allows the Architect to approach all new projects with a fresh outlook and non-prescriptive approach.
Diarmuid strongly believes that good design, architecture, urban design makes a huge difference to all our lives and shouldn’t cost the earth, but pays for itself. Diarmuid treats every brief individually and strives to provide bespoke design solutions for every project. His design approach is based on developing a detailed brief with the client and, through this process, coming to a full understanding of the client’s requirements and aspirations. Diarmuid’s work is based on a contextual approach to architecture and urban design, where all projects are informed by the urban, social, economic and environmental context of the project. This understanding of the projects’ greater context allows for the delivery of a project which is a creative response to this context and the client’s brief requirements, striving at all times to exceed the client’s expectations.
His approach has resulted in the successful completion of many projects, which have been featured in architectural journals and received design awards. Sustainability is a first principle in this design process and not an add-on service. Clarity of the design process is closely married with a clear project management and cost control process, which allows for the delivery of projects within the agreed time and budget constraints and allows for an ongoing dialogue and partnership between all the project stakeholders; clients, design team and construction team.
