This policy explains how Boxworks CoWork Space Ltd (“BoxWorks”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.boxworks.ie. For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used, or measure our adverts.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks which optional cookies you accept: Analytics and Marketing. “Accept” and “Reject” are equally easy to choose, and nothing optional is switched on until you accept.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
3. Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Google tags on our site read your choice before doing anything. If you reject cookies, Google Analytics sets no cookies on your device and does not identify you. It may receive basic, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was loaded), which Google uses only in aggregate to estimate overall visit numbers.
4. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are needed for the website to work, to keep our forms secure and to remember your cookie choice. The law does not require consent for them.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookieyes-consent | BoxWorks (CookieYes) | Stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page | 12 months |
Our contact form is protected from spam by Google reCAPTCHA. It checks technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots, and Google may set the cookie _GRECAPTCHA (6 months) for this purpose only. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics (only with your consent)
These tell us how many people visit, which pages they view and whether our contact form works, so we can improve the site.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps session state | 2 years |
Marketing (only with your consent)
We use the Meta Pixel to measure how well our adverts on Facebook and Instagram work and to show our adverts to people who have visited our website.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta | Identifies browsers to measure and deliver adverts | 3 months |
| fr | Meta (facebook.com) | Delivers and measures adverts; set by Meta if you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram | 3 months |
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and BoxWorks are joint controllers for collecting this data. For what Meta does with it, see Meta’s Privacy Policy. You can also manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Maps and video (only with your consent)
Some pages show a Google Map and YouTube videos. Google may set its own cookies when these load, so we show them only after you accept Marketing cookies. Until then, you will see a placeholder with a link to open the map or video on Google’s site.
These cookies are controlled by Google. See Google’s cookie policy for details.
